Compliments is an exhibition of pairs. The collection of work explores three WA artist-couples' work in two and three dimensions. The six artists each display a strong sense of gestural, experimental mark and sense of color. The exhibition title is a nod to the process of working alongside another artist and the inevitable collaborative process that follows, as well as softly alluding to the color theory phenomena of complementary color pairings where two colors naturally harmonize and enhance each other.
