Giusti Nature Print Wall Hangings are made from leaves and flowers pressed into clay and then glazed with a copper based glaze. In the Raku fire the copper reacts with the flames and smoke to bring out the brilliant colors and the smoke turns the porous clay black and grey.
Colors come from the raku fire and very with each piece.
This Raku wall hanging is for indoor decor only. The copper base glaze used on this piece is an ever changing surface and it will take on the environment to which it is exposed. Exposure to strong sunlight or harsh air pollutants could affect the surface colors.
