Jewelry
Jennifer Wilfong's studio is based out of Hampden, one of Baltimore's quirkiest neighborhoods. This is where I create one-of-a-kind and limited edition pieces of jewelry . My line is constantly evolving and currently I'm combining vintage and antique finds with my clay work, as well as continuing to expand my line that uses recycled copper and brass pieces. My designs tend to be inspired by microscopic tidbits of existence, intricately executed details, textiles and other things I see during my travels and daily life.
I've always gotten a kick out of making things, and being a jewelry designer allows me to come up with new designs and ideas on a constant basis! I truly love being able to create little pieces of art that anyone can afford and enjoy.
As a craftsman today, it's tough to compete in a market full of cheap stuff made overseas, but I don't let this bother me too much. I know that a lot of folks still care about where and who their goods come from. I'm proud to be a maker of things, and proud to call Baltimore home!
