Peggy Wilson

Peggy Wilson Portrait
Peggy grew up in an artistic family. Her dad was an artist and taught all of the kids to draw and see and appreciate nature and animals. The family moved quite a bit in early years, always rural areas in Idaho, British Columbia, and Washington state. Along with her brothers and sister, Peggy spent much time hiking outside and exploring which continues to inspire her work.

Peggy's art is an expression of her love of color, land, and light. Her work is an expressive impressionistic style in oils and acrylic and occasionally watercolor. Peggy has taken workshops from artists she admires such as Stan Miller, Ned Mueller, and Bill McEnroe.

Peggy has won awards in local and regional juried shows. Her work has been shown and sold in galleries in cities in the state of Washington including Olympia, Spokane, Ocean Shores, Shelton, and Gig Harbor.

Peggy lives in Lacey, Washington and continues to work on her creative process while also being involved with displaying and selling her art.
