"As I grow older, living life with purpose has become important to me. Creating art with a message is something that is new to me. Our world can be a bit ugly sometimes, filled with anger and hate towards each other. My message is simple. Love. Love which creates beauty. Beauty I find in nature. While I make no attempt to portray my subjects as realistic, I do want my creations to appear as if they have lived somewhere. I do not take life seriously, but my intent is to live life with a passion for it. My art is just that. Living with beautiful art that pays tribute to the natural world reminds us to slow down and helps us reconnect with nature and each other."
