John Beasley

John Beasley artist
I find great fun in designing and sculpting the little details that most people only discover after owning my work for years. Since ceramic can easily last for thousands of years I really hope their great, great, great, great grandchildren will also enjoy them. Everything is produced in my studio in Cincinnati, Ohio by myself and my assistant. I sculpt all my originals from a very hard wax or, on occasion, polymer clay. I make all my own molds. Everything is done by hand. My wife Debbie keeps the business alive and running and lets me do all the fun stuff. I hope my work makes you smile, and makes your great, great, great, great grandkids smile too.

Our Story:

We opened Medicine Bluff Studio on the screened in porch of our home in 2001 in Oklahoma. The studio was named after a beautiful bluff nearby.

John is a sculptor and illustrator. He designs and sculpts all of our products. Debbie works alongside John in creating new ideas for tiles and customer service.

After working together for 12 years and enjoying each other's company so much, we married in January of 2013. "We work together every day and we are so blessed that we love being together and love what we do."

John and Debbie now reside in a beautiful little town east of Cincinnati, OH. Our studio remains a small art studio, keeping the focus on quality with all of our handmade designs.
